These ancient sunglasses only remotely resemble their modern counterparts, but they were made for the same purpose. The design of the sunglasses, the small eye holes, for instance, was to protect the eyes from an extensive sunlight.
Oftentimes the glasses were used in the winter time when the sun glare becomes more bright during snowy days. Mostly, people from the arctic regions of Canada used them.
10. The first Swiss Army Knife
Here you can see a Swiss Army Knife from the times of the Roman Empire dating back to 200 AD. This tool was found in the Mediterranean in the 90s.
