Starting January 15th, DC residents will have to make sure they have their vaccine passports before leaving home according to DC Mayor Muriel Bowser.
Starting this weekend, many businesses will be completely off-limits to anyone caught without their vaccination papers.
This includes bars, restaurants, gyms, night clubs, and most indoor entertainment facilities.
According to Bowser, before leaving your home, you must be sure to grab three things:
proof of vaccination, a photo ID, and a mask
Bowser shared a reminder to DC citizens on Twitter:
Remember that starting Saturday you will need these three things before heading out:
1. Proof of Vaccination (12 years +)
2. Proof of Vaccination and Photo ID (18 years +)

You fail to explain why voter ID is a racist burden every 2 years but 1) an ID; 2) a passport & 3) getting the shots to get a passport for everyday services is not a racist burden.
Why is it easy for minorities to get 3 things & use them every day but not one (of those 3)? https://t.co/5mrAzberHf

Mayor Bowser has declared a “limited public health emergency”
WUSA9 has more details on the the new vaccine status requirements, which go into effect Saturday:
Before dining in at one of your favorite restaurants, be prepared to bring more than just your wallet.
Starting this week, a handful of spots will now require proof of the COVID-19 vaccine before dining indoors. As the contagious omicron variant continues to spread, many local businesses are once again forced to pivot to keep their doors open.
In D.C., businesses will be required to check vaccination cards beginning Saturday, Jan. 15. The mandate will impact most restaurants, bars and gyms across D.C. as COVID-19 cases continue to climb.
“The places that will require them will be restaurants, indoor cultural facilities, indoor exercise establishments and event and meeting establishments,” Mayor Bowser said at a December news conference.
GET THE TRUTH: DailyTruthReport.com
Starting Jan. 15 at 6 a.m., certain D.C. establishments must make sure their patrons who are 12 and older have at least one shot of a COVID-19 vaccine. Come Feb. 15, all patrons will need to have two doses.
The hypocrisy from liberals like Bowser is stunning.
They don’t think anyone should ever have to provide an ID to enter the country or to vote, yet they don’t want you to leave home without your precious vaccine ID.
In DC, you are required to carry ID when you leave home in case you have to prove your vaccination status, which lefties think is fine, but if you’re headed to vote and someone asks to see it then, that’s racist. https://t.co/L3pK3o45Ow

Ever remember when Obama Administration told AZ that it was UNCONSTITUTIONAL to ask suspected illegals for ID/proof of legal status in public?
